✨ Katjes jes, jes, jes ✨: Many people hear the melody when they read the name Katjes or hold it in their hands. It all began in 1910 with a licorice recipe from Sicily. Xaver Fassin brought it back from the island, and his  son Klaus Fassin  used it to make little  licorice kittens called "Katjes Kinder ." Katjes means  "little kitten " in Dutch  , which is why our oldest product has retained its distinctive cat-like shape to this day 🖤.

How fortunate: To this day, our Katjes Kinder sweets made  with spicy hard licorice remain among our vegan family's  most popular products  . We're especially pleased that our truly unique product was already  a trendsetter back then  . Our Katjes Kinder sweets have always been made without animal gelatin –  100% vegan licorice .



Ingredients: Brown sugar syrup, modified starch, sugar, glucose syrup, starch, 5% licorice juice, flavorings, vegetable oil (sunflower), glazing agent: carnauba wax.
May contain traces of milk .
