Making lyutenitsa is a tradition that goes beyond the simple providing of a spread for the morning toast. We have preserved that feeling you had when you first tried homemade lyutenitsa by the open fire. We make our home style lyutenitsa in only one month of the year. To our roasted Bulgarian red peppers and aubergines we add freshly ground peak-summer ripe Bulgarian tomatoes and typical natural herbs. All these ingredients we simmer until dense at low heat and then we add some onion, some sunflower oil and some salt.
Home style lyutenitsa “Parvomai” is a natural product with protected geographical indication made with Bulgarian vegetables under a traditional recipe. The typical Bulgarian flavor is finely composed by the natural herbs and fresh vegetables we use. We do not add preservatives, artificial colors, stabilizers, emulsifiers, artificial flavours and enhancers. Lyutenitsa Parvomai does not contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
